You have to stop looking for old discontinued wads, and look at the nontox capable wads. All of these hold 1oz or more lead for 20ga. Sam1, tps20 2.75, tps20 3in, csd20 aka tuwsbl2024, csd203, pt2092, pt2090. Pt2090 are in stock at bpi, go to the PT wads page to find. I just ordered 2 bags yesterday.I just went out and tried a 1 oz. load using the DRV20 wad. STS hull and W-209, 17.0 grs, Longshot, (Hodgdon lists from 16.3 to 18.0 using the WAA20F1), and 1 oz. #7-1/2 shot. Had to use a little bit of wad pressure, but it then fit and crimped very nicely. The Remington SP20 was the last 1 ounce wad for 20 gauge tapered hulls, and they are scarce also. There's a single 1 ounce load in Remington hulls using AA20 wad and HS-6 in Lyman 5th Edition Handbook.

The F1 wads are out-of-print, so I haven't used them. In 7/8 loads Rem wads with Win case and vice versa works the best. Like.Nov 12, 2021 · There isn't one. I also loaded them in the Old Rem RXP cases with the CCI209 primer and everything else the same. This load was at 1165fps, 9,800psi. These loads came straight out of the IMR manual and I loaded them for over 25yrs. No this wad isn't the same as the SP20 wad.
